black flats 400w power inverter input voltage correction?
My inverter works fine when the truck is not running, but when I start the truck red input voltage warning light turns on and off the unit. Is there any way to get it to work when the truck is running and when not? Could you put a tough line to get the voltage down when running, but small enough as a resistor that still works when the truck is not working? I have an optimal level of yellow top battery and an alternator of values.
When the running truck, is the failure of the trigger inverter high voltage switch ... or low? If low, the battery may not be able to handle the starting load. If you really active in high input, why? It is necessary to measure the input voltage inverter, both during use of the truck and when turned off. Use a scope, if you have one, but a voltmeter can be fine. The problem may be simply too high battery impedance so the voltage drops too much, or alternator charging current increases the voltage too high. Maybe you just have to change the battery, or check the alternator and charging cables. Or difficult wiring the inverter directly to the battery.
