The Panasonic TX-P42G20B , a 42 inch full Hi Def plazma TV . It comes equipped with built in Freeview -HD Tuner and Free-sat. Freeview gives you to gain additional channels as well as preparing you for the digital switch; Free-sat allows those who already own a sky dish to get up to a further 140 digital channels, radio stations and services like HD and BBC iplayer, without more payments or subscriptions required .
Most new 42" plasma TV's look great , and this one is certainly no different - with it's stylish sleek design and glossy black finish, the TX-P42 will look wonderful in any home .
There are 4 HDMI inputs (three rear one side), two USB connections , ethernet socket , PC input, one component video connection and one composite video connection.
The Panasonic TX-P42G20B has 600Hz Sub-field Drive with Intelligent Frame Creation Pro. This is a unique image-analysis processor which eradicates smearing to ensure that your viewing is smooth and judder-free . VIERA NeoPDP attains a contrast ratio of over 5,000,000:1, therefore conveying deeper blacks and a brighter whites. There is also a brand new feature setting called 'Game mode' which has an anti-image retension setting, and faster image response time to increase enjoyment for keen game players .
With VIERA CAST you can now get internet content on your TV . News and sports are simple to access as well as online videos and photos etc . Skype and Twitter are the newest additions to VIERA CASTS amazing online content, and will be available in a couple of months .
The set up takes under ten minutes and provides all of the relevant features . THX mode automatically fine-tunes colour, contrast and black levels, and reproduces cinema-like quality images. The clarity of the picture is so good you willwant to re-watch your whole dvd collection
The speakers are slim-line and wellhidden , but the THX Sound quality and V-Audio surround make sure that the sound is crisp, clear and loud.
Panasonic have taken a 'green' approach to the most recent VIERA TV's, adopting an 'eco mode' to save energy. When you are not using the television , eco mode put's it into sleep mode for you. It also adjusts according to the environment; meaning it will use less power if the room is darkly-lit etc. Panasonic have also put a stop to using lead and mercury, that used to be prevalent in the majority of flat screens.
The TX-P42G20B is a brilliant television and represents excellent value for money.
