install surround sound

Best surround sound?
I want to install a surround sound system in my bedroom. I looked at Bose, but they are way to expensive for my budget at this time. I have an HDTV, a PS3, an Xbox 360, and a Tivo HD. I am interested in 5.1 or 7.1 system, but I do not know what would be best for my setup, I would consider a 2.1 system, if its good. I would like the system to less than $ 400 and be of better quality.
Honestly, spending $ 400 on a surround sound system is like buying a white castle when you are dining in a 5 star restaurant, which is only going to be disappointed with this whole thing and finish listening to a lot of shit by the end of the night. First things first, ... DO NOT BUY BOSE! The best thing that has been written about them can be found at this link: I sincerely recommend http://www.intellexual.net/bose.html save money until you can buy a decent system costs between $ 1,300 to $ 2,000. This is more or less the starting point to get something good. I say to save because I think ultimately will be disappointed with your purchase of $ 400 and wind up having to start again from $ 0 to save for something better. As with any investment, you want Futureproof so you do not have to end rebuying team, losing hundreds of thousands of dollars things that are not happy. Most stores will not let you return something when it opened for the reason "I do not like." Take the $ 400 you saved and put it in a savings account that earns interest. Save as you can every month until I have saved enough to get something that will be truly happy. You are also earning interest on your money for nothing. Even if you only make $ 60, which is still covering a portion of the purchase tax. While taking the time to store money, go out and listen to different sound systems, and see what is right for you. Avoid large specialty shops and try to hi-fi stores. Talk about the room that you're going to have to (sheetrock, carpet, wood flooring, panels, dimensions), a good seller will be able to tell what will best suit the room by want to spend the money. Good luck with your search.
