home theater Systems - Where is the AM / FM stereo?

I know I'm showing my age here, but if we buy a new flat panel Plasma or LCD or LED television and then buy new types of home theater system with the Blue Ray if it doesn't have FM stereo. Do we have to buy a stereo apart and hook into the system to listen through the speakers. Someone please explain. Besides, I do not want the surround sound system to buy only to work when we see a DVD that I want to work on regular TV too.

Most home theater systems include an FM / AM. Very basic option. There are many different types of systems, some that include DVD or Blu-ray in them, and some also include speakers. Quality increases when matching player dedicated audio / video at home that works), and room placement / design (noise / aesthetics).
