What is the best home theater speaker system for under $ 400?
I have a DLP HDTV and a Pioneer receiver http://reviews.cnet.com/Pioneer_VSX_1016TXV/4505-6466_7-32026748.html?tag=lst Remember it must be less than $ 400 (please post link)
My answer will disappoint you. First, "better" is a subjective thing. A guy thinks a 500-watt sound better than a 750W ... and for his own good, you're right! Someone else is going to disagree ... and yes, they are right. In Secondly, it really depends on the size and shape of the room you're going to locate the sound system. Obviously, if you're making a full basement in your living room home theater, you need a more robust system than you need in a 10'X12 'room. You may not want a lot of energy if you are living in an apartment (why buy the energy that I never use?). The location of the speakers has a lot to do with the power of your computer you should be, too. Speakers away from the viewing area, of course, we need more "voice" of the speakers sitting next to you. Maybe if you set the dimensions of your room and an overview of the configuration of the room, we can be closer.
