home theater System Sony DAV-HDX589W?
I am thinking of buying this home theater system, but I have a few questions before I do, I hope someone can help. So you have a PS3, directv satellite box and 2009 40 "Sharp Aquos. Ok I want what you want is to be able to change the inputs and the PS3 game, satellite clock, or use the DVD player in the home theater system in the best possible surround sound. From what I read, if I connect a digital optical cable system home theater TV with HDMI cables and then the PS3 and TV box directly to your TV it should work correctly? I do not need another cable right? If there is anything else I need to know, how to change something in my TV settings, could you please let me know. Thanks for any help. The theater system at home only has a digital optical port, a HDMI port, and red and white base port.
Connect PS3 HDMI and cable box to the TV for video, then PS3 optical cable from cable box and home theater audio system (not the TV to the system).
