How to fix an audio problem in my home theater set up?
Currently I have this home theater set in my living room: Mitsubishi WD-60C9 60 Samsung HT-inch TV in 5\.1 surround sound AS730ST Direct TV H21-200 HD receiver Xbox 360 with HD-DVD Playstation 3 Logitech Harmony One Remote Sony PS-sound For rotating LX250H my surround sound I'm using Coaxial Digital out from TV to the AV receiver. Now the problem I'm having is that sometimes when I return to my Direct TV I have my PS3 or Xbox no sound as ever and I'll have to restart my Direct TV receiver to retrieve it. Does anyone know what is causing this or how to fix?
how they have created it should work. you can go directly into the receiver if you have the extra cables, but I would not spend the money. make sure the digital dolby menu is activated from the directv receiver audio because they are using a digital coaxial cable (default is not). try changing the DIRECTV receiver to another in the house (or any of the components as well as others), DIRECTV receivers constantly have problems. if the recipient of DIRECTV, call them is probably covered. there are some other things I could try, if not find an answer, let me know.
