i have a playstation 3 and a home theatre cinema Surround system but i have a few problems with the sound.!!!!?

basicly i have a cinema surround home theatre system. it is reletively old, it does not have a HDMI port/input. the thing is though i have connected by PS3 to a Hdmi Cable so i get good sound and display but the sound comes out of my tv. is there a way to make my playstation 3 play the sound through the cinema system?

Check on the back of your home theater system to see if there is any kind of audio input like optical or composite inputs. You connect optical or composite cables ( red & white ) output from PS3 to system input if it has one.
