Could a cheap Hdmi Cable cause pixelation on Panasonic TC-L37C22 720p Lcd Hdtv?
I just bought this TV and use a very cheap 6 ft HDMI cable (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0002L5R78/ref=oss_product) to connect to my satellite receiver. The picture looks fantastic when objects are displayed nearby. But small or distant objects appear pixelated. It is not only the resolution that has come to expect from high definition television. I since the satellite output for 720p but curiously and perhaps unrelated, the image will only work with 4:3 aspect ratio and 16:9 is stretched. I tried all different formats and 4:3 is what produces the best image. Is there a problem with the HDMI cable, or is the problem elsewhere?
HDMI is a digital signal by it just work or not work at all. In other words, do not get any better performance of an expensive HDMI cable of their being cheap. Its theme is that do with the display of a non-HD channel on an HDTV. All HDTVs will be exclusive video input - regardless of the source - a resolution native. So if you have a 1080p HDTV, for example, anything you feed will improve the resolution of 1080p. Although most stations broadcast only in 720p HD, the difference between 720p and 1080p is not that big, so you'll still get a beautiful picture. However, the non-HD (SD) are only 480i channels - that is much less data to the TV to deal with reason and its stations are not so well. Unfortunately there is not much you can do ... than not see no HD stations in your HDTV.
