What do I need to increase the volume on my HDTV?
I just won a Sharp LC-C6077UN flat screen Lcd Hdtv. After to hook up I found that with the volume all the way until it was over a Wisper. I just read some comments on this model and found others have the same problem. Is there an inexpensive way to increase the volume?
It would be unusual for a set of this size to have audio over a whisper. Audio levels are inadequate in many flat screen TVs due to the downward-pointing small speakers, but their situation is not typical. I first I try different inputs: antenna, cable or satellite TV, DVD player, etc. If the sound is low with only one input, you have partially resolved. If it is low in all all should come back for repair or replacement. Hopefully your winnings including the warranty.
