how to change the screen resolution on the gateway computer?
I have a Gateway computer from my grandfather just gave me her own. I The team recovered the factoy settings. i however have a Dell flat screen monitor on it (obviously not the original computer monitor) after I made the recovery of the screen is low resolution (the 640 one). and everything on the screen is too big (icons, toolbars, Start bar, menu, etc) I tried changing the resoultion thought that was the problem, but is blocked in the 640 and try to change it and let me practice. could be, because I have a monitor different about her or is there something else I could do. I also tried to change the resolution on the monitor, but could not find anything to change that. Anyone have any idea what to do or what could be the problem?
You need to find the driver for the monitor and install it. It is now very likely to have the default monitor configuration. That should solve the problem.
