Viewguard Anti-Glare Matte Screen Savers are made multiple layers of material, each of them helps to reduce both the reflected light or provide impact protection for the screen. In addition, the glare reduction can help reduce some effects of eye strain caused by spending long hours in front of a computer screen. One of the best features the Viewguard Protectors Anti-glare matte screen is the ease of on / off application. The protector is easily attached and removed again and time without damage to the screen. The screen saver connects directly to the screen surface with a silicone adhesive. Since the entire multilayer film is less than a millimeter thick that can be connected to the screen and still allows your laptop to close the lid.
Application
The Viewguard Anti-Glare Matte Screen Protector (which is available both for 16:9 format screens and higher screen 16:10) comes in a simple black shield, which includes display, a reusable microfiber cloth cleaning, disposable wipes. While I appreciate the reduction in packaging material, I would have liked to see a thick envelope or a thick cardboard inside the envelope to provide additional support and protection for the screen saver during transport (more on that later).
I have to praise the team for choosing Viewguard disposable cleaning wipes. We have used a variety of these tissues in our office and some are left smudges or residue on the screen after use. These wipes Viewguard worked perfectly for cleaning glossy screens cleaning without leaving marks behind. The cleaning process is very important because any residual dirt on the screen will create small air pockets between the bright and matte screen protector. Once you've used the wipes and microfiber cloth for the screen as clean as possible, the hard part begins. After removing the screen saver Manning and the protective layer can cover up the screen saver for perfect placement on the bright screen of your laptop. Unless you're very, very lucky you may have to apply, remove and apply the screen protector several times until the film covers the screen perfectly. In Use
Once the matte screen protector is in place the results are quite obvious. While some reflections are still visible, the surface of the screen is less damaging to write documents for work or play for fun. While not completely eliminate the protective reflexes, he does a great job to reduce glare from overhead lights or sunlight. That said, there are two potential problems have into account. As mentioned above, if not cleaned the screen before applying the screen protector or not to squeeze the air bubbles, then end with some bubbles annoying screen that stand in the way of what you see.
