Low-Profile Installation of Flat TV

Mounting a flat TV using a low-profile bracket is the most convenient option than other two available options and is the lowest-cost option too. The wall mounting of a TV using a low-profile bracket is very similar to hanging a portrait on the wall. While this is the simplest to install, it has a limitation that you cannot tilt the TV from its position once it is installed. This is a disadvantage that makes it difficult to change cables of your TV. As your flat panel is mounted on a plane surface, you can't change the cables unless you remove the TV completely from the wall.

These brackets are bit costlier than the low-profile ones but are cheaper than the full-motion wall mounting brackets. In general, tilting TV mount is not very difficult and is very much similar to a low-profile mount. The only major difference between these two types of mounts is that in a tilting mount, you enjoy the liberty of adjusting the vertical angle of viewing. In the middle of the tilting mount brackets, there always exists a pivot. This pin enables it give you a viewing angle that you need at a point of time. Changing cables is not a problem in a tilting wall mount unlike it's in the case of low-profile mount.

Full-Motion Installation of Flat TV

Full-motion TV wall mount is costlier than the two but gives you a liberty of moving your wall mounted TV as per your convenience. They are the costliest of all types of wall mounts. Installation of a full-motion mount involves a great degree of complexity. These wall mounts are difficult to install due to the moving arms they use to have. And thus, you will need 2-3 extra men to help you try to hang your TV on the wall using a full-motion mount bracket.
