Are there DVD players that will zoom in on a film mailbox?
Are there DVD players capable of zooming in on a mailbox / movie widescreen so that the film is shown full screen on a standard 4:3 aspect ratio TV? Ideally, I would like recommendations 3-4 on specific models that can do this for under $ 100. Thank you. Jason: There are very few players that will explode screen 1.85:1 full screen on one screen 4:3. A winning answer to this question what they say models are available for purchase today to do that. Claim [wrong!] That most players do this is not a winning answer. If you can not imagine why anyone would want to blow up and show the center of a DVD movie, you may want to request that a Yahoo question.
Most players have settings so you can decide how the image is displayed. Although why would I want to do this is beyond me. Do you realize you are pulling 40 +% of the image to do this, right? Edit: Want a model? Toshiba SD-6000. As to why a silly idea, see the link below.
