My Dell will not start.?
I took it in to be fixed again in February, no power until then, but had been beaten with a power surge (Lightning, do not know, we had two outlets in our rental place that were not grounded properly. The other, well, we also lost our TV player New DVD ... anyway this is already ancient history). The motherboard was replaced, and I think the hard drive, too. (Long story how come I'm not sure ...) Now suddenly, not turn the light on and scream that BEEEEEEP! Beeeeep OH, agony, beeeeep! (Yes my computer is a total drama queen.) I have borrowed again and a for a few days, but I would like more opinions about what is wrong than just the type of service.
The beeps you're hearing really tell you what's the problem .... Count the beeps and let us know (ie, three short beeps or two long beeps and one short). Yahoo also can search and find what the beeps mean ... can sometimes be specific to a computer or motherboard brand .... My suspicion would be either the motherboard or memory (RAM). Good luck:)
