¿I can use a coaxial cable instead of RCA?

I have an old television, a DVD player and more recently. Both have coaxial and RCA connectors. Ago coaxial deliver audio and video, or I have to use RCA for video?

Ben obviously not read. If both have RCA (red, yellow, white), which is like is to connect the DVD player. The coax on the DVD is orange, just for the audio coaxial RJ6 television is a unique type with threaded pin used to obtain cable or satellite signal on your TV. No DVD players use this type.
