Is my PS3 broken because my TV can't pick up the signal?
So I have my PS3 hooked up to my Vizio TV both via the A/V cables that the PS3 came with, and an Hdmi Cable that I have attached to the HDMI slot on the Vizio. Everything was working perfectly, until I was watching Wall-E on Blu-Ray, and as I attempted to take out the disk, once I TOUCHED the PS3, the TV could no longer pick up the signal from my PS3. I tried to check both the HDMI input as well as the traditional A/V input, but the TV just could not pick up the signal from the PS3. My PS3 still works (I think), since the blue light comes on when I turn it on, but I just could not for the life of me figure out why the TV can't pick up my PS3's signal. So, is my PS3 broken? Or is there another explanation for this occurrence?

ya, this has happened to me before. The ps3 has to detect what tv and type of resolution its outputting to or it comes up blank. try turning the ps3 off, then when turning it back on, hold the power button for like 10 seconds i think until you hear it beep again. that resets the ps3s output signal (not any of your saved games or anything). hope this works!
