I can’t connect my PS3 to a PowerLIte home cinema projector. Any help?

I have a 20gig PS3 and I’m trying to connect it to a PowerLite Home Cinema 8100/8500 UB. The projector has ports for HDMI (two of them), Component, PC, S-Video and normal Video. We managed to get a video to appear but no sound. The only sound port is on a different box which has Red/Blue/Green cables. Is there a way to conect a Red/Yellow/White to Red/Blue/Green directly through the male part?

Just use the composite cables that come with the ps3 for sound. Just plug in the white/red ones into wherever you need it, and change the audio settings on the ps3 to output sound through composite. You’ll only be able to compressed 2 channel audio though.
