lcd projectors home theatre

Need help with buying a projector?
Hi, I'm buying a home theater projector, and I need to know the difference between an LCD projector and a DLP projector. thanks
DLP (Digital Light Processing) uses a color wheel and a chip with millions of mirrors in which each mirror is moved to direct the light to or from the screen to reproduce the image. Each mirror is basically a pixel. Because it uses a color wheel that is spinning very fast one color is displayed at a time, but so fast that you can not know. DLP is a bit less sharp of an image, it helps that the movies look better. There is no screen door effect (Space between pixels). lighter unit. better contrast, deeper black levels. a problem is a thing called rainbow effect, which occurs when a white or light moving quickly across a black background. but just get a new DLP unit and this is not a real problem, the quicker the color wheel spins help eliminate this issue. if his eyes dart over and not natural then it is possible to display. LCD (liquid crystal display) uses three LCD panels (red, green, blue). each pixel is controlled by turning on or off. LCD usually provides a sharper image ideal for displaying a computer image. suffers from the effect of screen door, but the higher the resolution the less this is obvious. not a good contrast. but are getting better. over time can degrade the LCD panel to alter Color the picture. but may have better color saturation. LCOS (Liquid Crystal on Silicon) is another type – not sure about this, but that research can tomorrow. I think it's best, but certainly not. For movies, I think I would go with DLP technology for business presentations I would go with LCD. I have a DLP TV 1080p and the picture looks great (better than the big one) until-converts the image to make it look better than the original (in a study that found people could only see a 10% difference between high definition movie and DVD became standard gear. And only when seen side by side, otherwise thought it was high definition), not sure if DLP projectors do that or not. One of the problems with a maximum conversion is whether the processor is the sound may be lost synchronization. But this does not happen much, at least not in my game.
