Home theater and electronics have come such a long way from the days of the whole family sitting around the living room watching the twenty five inch television viewing their favorite entertainment shows of back in the day. As a young teenager I remember getting my first stereo system which consisted of a Garrard turntable, Pioneer receiver and KLH speakers and hooking up my stereo system with Audio Video cables to my nineteen inch television. I thought life could not get much better that this having family and friends come over not only enjoying what was broadcast on the air but listening to it in stereo was absolutely awesome.

Back then, electronics where so simple. If you had a decent television, a few audio speakers, and a good stereo, you where good to go. Living in today’s world dealing with the constantly changing world of electronics can be a daunting and even intimidating task to build what they now call a home entertainment system.

Today’s Home Theater Experience

The world of today’s electronics include such words to consider when purchasing a home theater system as, plasma television, liquid crystal displays,  hd projector, projector screens, high definition , led displays, dvd’s, compact disks or cds, Blue Ray, a/v receivers, 5.1 speakers, 7.1 speakers, wireless components, home entertainment stands, wall mounts and surround sound just to name a few.
